GABBY JACK RANCH THERAPY DOG TRAINING
Companion 133 – Basic Pet Therapy:
Basic Therapy Dog training prepares you and your dog to visit hospitals, and Assisted Living Homes, where you cheer patients, families and residents, libraries where children improve their reading skills by reading to dogs, as well as many other places. Canine Service Connection, High Performance Support Dogs, go beyond pet therapy dogs and complete targeted training to team up with their human partners and comfort victims, first responders and others in times of traumatic events such as crimes, fires, earthquakes, natural disasters and more. These teams work within courts, offices, shelters and places where they are needed in order to comfort, reassure and ease the burden of trauma.
Our Basic Therapy Dog Program prepares you to take the evaluation tests offered by Pet Partners (formerly the Delta Society) or other therapy dog programs.
